I have had the switch checked and it is ok the boot is empty and the cover in the correct position.

I have manually opened and closed the roof without issues but the problem is the trunk latches wonã â â t shut even after a reset and the cables slack. The front side windows close and the rear side windows open. To open the roof pull and hold roof switch 1 until the roof has retracted fully into the boot and the vario roof in operation message disappears from the multifunction display. 2002 slk230 and all the switches are working fine i just rebuilt the front and and 1 trunk cylinders i do believe there is still a leak in one or two of the cylinders still.
